Restorative justice is not a one-size-fits-all practice. Our trainings are centered in restorative values while being intentionally shaped to the cultural, relational, and systemic contexts of each audience. This allows us to offer learning experiences that are both deeply principled and practically relevant.
Trainings for public institutions emphasize accountability, ethics, and trauma-informed practice within complex systems. We focus on difficult conversations, navigating conflict under pressure, and understanding harm at both interpersonal and systemic levels. Programs are adapted to policy environments and public responsibility, supporting clarity, trust, and durable working relationships.
Trainings for K–12 settings focus on age-appropriate restorative practices that support safety, emotional regulation, and belonging. We emphasize restorative circles, communication skills, and understanding harm and accountability in developmentally responsive ways. Programs are designed to support educators, staff, and students in building healthier school cultures.
Higher education trainings address conflict, harm, and accountability within complex campus environments. We tailor content to support difficult conversations, restorative processes, and ethical decision-making across student life, faculty, and administration. Emphasis is placed on navigating power, repairing relationships, and creating conditions for trust and dialogue.
Custom trainings for workplaces center on conflict transformation, ethical accountability, and transparent communication. We support teams and leaders in navigating impasse, addressing harm without escalation, and fostering psychologically safer environments. Content is tailored to organizational dynamics, power, and culture, with practical tools for repair, dialogue, and long-term relational health.
We tailor trainings for nonprofits and faith communities to support mission-driven work, volunteer dynamics, and values-based leadership. Emphasis is placed on restorative communication, relationship repair, circle practices, and navigating conflict with care and transparency. Participants gain tools for addressing harm while strengthening belonging, trust, and shared purpose.
These trainings center dignity, accountability, and relational repair for people impacted by or involved in the criminal legal system. We focus on understanding harm, responsibility, and pathways to repair, alongside emotional regulation and safety. Programs are designed to support healing, agency, and meaningful dialogue across roles and experiences.
Trainings for legal professionals emphasize restorative approaches to conflict, accountability, and dialogue within adversarial systems. We focus on understanding harm, navigating impasse, and engaging courageous conversations while maintaining ethical integrity. Content supports alternative pathways for repair alongside traditional legal processes.
Trainings for therapists integrate restorative frameworks with emotional regulation, ethics, and trauma-informed practice. We emphasize navigating conflict, holding complexity, and supporting repair in therapeutic and professional contexts. Content complements clinical work while offering relational and restorative tools beyond individual treatment models.
Trainings for facilitators and leaders support those who regularly hold responsibility for guiding conversations, navigating challenging interpersonal situations, and responding to and preventing conflict within groups and organizations. We emphasize ethical facilitation, use of self, and trauma-informed approaches that help leaders remain grounded and clear in complex relational dynamics. Participants develop skills for supporting dialogue, accountability, and repair while attending to power, safety, and trust within the systems they steward.
Our trainings for individuals, community groups, and families focus on building relational skills for everyday life. We emphasize emotional regulation, nonviolent communication, and understanding harm and accountability in ways that support repair rather than blame. Participants learn tools for navigating conflict, setting boundaries, engaging in courageous dialogue, and rebuilding trust within families and close relationships.

Why Train in Restorative Justice?
Restorative justice is not just a set of tools — it is a way of thinking, relating, and building systems grounded in accountability and connection. To practice restorative work well, people need skill, grounding, relational awareness, and guided experience. That’s why thoughtful, high-quality training is essential.
Restorative efforts succeed or struggle based on the preparedness and confidence of the people facilitating them. Without meaningful training, even well-intentioned practices can unintentionally replicate harm, reinforce inequities, or exhaust the staff and community members trying to help.
Organizations today are facing rising conflict, burnout, trauma, inequity, broken trust, polarization, and communication challenges. Strong restorative training addresses these issues at their roots, giving individuals and teams the sustainable skills needed to create long-term cultural change.
Solid training ensures that participants:
Restorative work requires more than knowledge. It calls for practice, reflection, modeling, and mentorship. Our trainings bring all of these elements together—uniting experiential learning with practical tools, trauma-informed frameworks, and culturally responsive approaches—so communities can flourish with integrity and resilience.
